K-Swiss names Mike Miringoff global director of tennis

K-Swiss on Thursday announced that Mike Miringoff has been named the new Global Director of Tennis. He will report directly to Barney Waters, Brand President of K-Swiss.

As Global Director of Tennis, Miringoff will be responsible for the sales, marketing, products and all aspects of the performance tennis business in North America. Miringoff possesses vast experience in the tennis industry including racquets, accessories, footwear and apparel across management, commercial, sales, product and marketing. The role will set the tone for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and APAC (Asia and Pacific) regions.
 
Miringoff joins K-Swiss from Wilson, where he served as Asia Pacific Region Commercial Manager and operated in Shanghai, China. Prior to Wilson, he served as Key Account Manager for Nike’s Western region and served as the Director of Player Development for the United States Tennis Association.

K-Swiss this year hired Sean O’Shea and Patrick Buchanan from Creative Recreation to serve as Creative Director and Marketing Director, respectively. The company will also move its headquarters to Downtown Los Angeles on January 1, 2017.
