Kidbox launches kids style service with a good cause

Kidbox has launched, offering parents and children the first subscription-based style box for kids. Part of its mission is to clothe less fortunate kids, and it will do so with every subscription.
Launched by Haim Dabah, an Israeli American entrepreneur, Kidbox operates out of both Tel Aviv and New York offices. Kidbox promises to remove the hassle of children’s clothing shopping for a flat rate of $98 per box, which will be filled with name brand clothing. Any pieces the family wishes to keep they can purchase, the rest they return.
The good cause is that Kidbox has pledged to provide an outfit to a child in need for every box sent and kept in its entirety.
Dabah founded Kidbox with his son. He explained, “Kidbox was created as a way to enable parents to save time and to not only shop from the convenience of [home], but also enjoy a positive experience together with kids while having fun in the discovery of affordable name brand style.”
Dabah was previously involved in the Gitano Group, Inc. He notes the meaningful force behind Kidbox is opening a conversation about children in need. In addition to clothing, the boxes contain information on charities that families can discuss, as well as selecting the charity where they would like to send the sponsored outfit.
Dabah explained that Kidbox “allows parents to share with their kids the experience of getting and giving new clothes to other children, with the ultimate goal of donating new clothes to one million needy children throughout the U.S.”
Dabah told Forbes that his goal is to foster a “culture of generosity.”
