Kinfolk opens weekend pop up in Atlanta

Kinfolk, one of GQ and Gap’s Best New Menswear Designers of 2017, opened on Thursday a weekend pop up shop at The Sound Table in Atlanta.

 
Space 2 of the Fourth Ward bar on 483 Edgewood Avenue has been transformed to resemble Kinfolk’s Williamsburg, Brooklyn retail location on 94 Wythe Avenue. The three-day pop up houses regular partners of Kinfolk, such as Bedwin & The Heartbreakers and Stone Island among others, as well as artwork, books and home wares.
 
Kinfolk shut down its 90 and 94 locations in Brooklyn for the week in order to bring its party experience to Atlanta. The Brooklyn retailer, café and club is hosting a party Saturday evening featuring music by Kashiif, TurnUpTony, and DJ Oh So.

“We want to introduce the Kinfolk lifestyle to an entirely new market,” said Kinfolk Managing Director Keith Abrams. “We’re huge fans of this city and want to make sure that we bring a similar feel to this pop-up as our Brooklyn location. We believe there are some exciting things happening in Atlanta and we’re eager to see how customers will respond to Kinfolk’s world out there.”
 
The Kinfolk Atlanta pop up will remain through June 11.
