LA Swim Week 2016 takes place this week and celebrates connections between designers, retailers and media.
The show explains its mission, saying “The remarkable and revealing language of fashion empowers innovation. It exemplifies diversity and advocate for artistic expression of individual style.”
LA Swim Week was founded to increase engagement and foster connections between national and international swimwear designers, top retailers and premier fashion media.
LA Swim Week showcases lingerie and swimwear collections from emerging, iconic and powerful luxury brands in fashion. It facilitates global merchants with up and coming designers as well as established ones to drive the industry forward with a focus on cultural diversity and education.
The event takes place July 19th and 20th from 12pm to 6pm at LA's Skirball Center. It features a pop-up shop, DJ, red carpet event and multiple fashion industry networking opportunities.
