Lacoste has announced its comeback to the Paris runway. The French casualwear brand will be leaving New York where it’s been showing for the last 13 years, to return to the Paris catwalk this September.

The triumphant return was planned as part of the brand’s 85th anniversary, though its move to Paris may be permanent. The occasion showcases the brands desire to capitalize on its heritage and claim its DNA as an elegant casual French brand, the company said in a news statement.

The September runway show will feature Lacoste’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection and will kick start the brand’s 85th anniversary festivities that includes a number of events planned for 2018.

Meanwhile, the brand continues to deny any claims of a collaboration with Supreme, following rumors that were sparked when members of the New York-based streetwear brand were seen with Lacoste’s artistic director Felipe Oliveira during his runway show Saturday night.
