FGX International Inc., an eyewear designer and marketer, and Levi’s announced on Friday that they have joined forces to launch a unisex collection of Levi’s branded eyewear for both sunglasses and optical frames.

The collaboration offers different eyewear styles made from the highest-grade materials and standards that FGX has utilized through its 85-year heritage. Each style features 100% UVA/UVB protection and is branded with Levi’s batwing logo. Select styles are available with polarized lenses and others can be used with prescription lenses.

“FGX International has a tremendous heritage in the eyewear market but is also incredibly innovative, modern, and focused on quality,” said Tom Berry, SVP Business Development for Levi’s. “We chose FGX International for their talent to marry high-quality production with our values that celebrate style and authenticity. Producing this truly original eyewear collection together is just one more way we can provide Levi’s® fans the ability to ‘Live in Levi’s’ in an individualized, expressive way.”

Levi’s eyewear will be available in Latin America, Europe and North America at optical stores, department stores and independent opticians.

FGX also holds the licenses for Reebok, Revlon, Dockers and Nine West among others.
