Levi’s is in expansion mode. The American company plans to expand its presence in Spain with eight new stores scheduled to launch in the next three months, following seven recent openings in the country.

The new stores are expected to open by the end of November and will be mostly located in prime shopping centres, as well as on Barcelona’s main shopping street, La Rambla, and on a high street in Alicante.

On average, the units will cover 125 sq mts and showcase the brand’s vintage spirit through a combination of high quality materials and modern design.

In addition to stocking the brand’s full range of collections, the stores in Valencia, Alicante, Barcelona, Mallorca and Las Palmas will feature a Tailor Shop, where customers can customize their denim with playful patches, pins and studding as embroidery patterns.

Despite declining sales, the company reported a profit increase to $209 million in FY2015, up from $106 million the previous year. Levi’s trades from stores in over 110 countries as well as a presence at various multi-brand retailers.
