Mackage to expand in Canada

Montreal-designed label Mackage announced on Monday it is expanding its Canadian footprint with the opening of two new retail boutiques.

The two stores will open in Toronto, Canada’s largest city, at the CF Toronto Eaton Centre and Yorkdale Shopping Centre.

The first store is expected to open at CF Toronto Eaton Centre in August. The second Mackage location will open this October in Yorkdale Shopping Centre’s newly renovated luxury wing.

Both locations will carry a full collection of Mackage’s classic womenswear and menswear jackets and coats, handbags and accessories, along with ‘Mackage Mini’. Both store layouts are conceptualized by internationally recognized interior design firm Burdifilek.

“We are excited to grow our presence in one of our favourite Canadian cities by launching our first ever Toronto retail stores in these high profile shopping districts,” says Elisa Dahan, Mackage Co-creative Director, in a news statement.

Mackage opened their first Canadian retail store in Laval, Quebec last year. They also have a shopfront in New York. The company was launched in 1999.
