Magic gets a hold of ENK

There has been a consolidation of trade show in the United States. Advanstar, the organizers behind Magic in Las Vegas and Project trade shows, have added ENK International to their portfolio. The two trade show organizers have come head-to-head in other terrains, for example, in China where ENK organizes projects in Shanghai while Magic is in Beijing.

Rumors of an acquisition have been flying around for months. Founding partner of ENK Ted Forstman died last year and Elyse Kroll, co-founder, recently left after spending 30 years with the company. Each year ENK organizes, amongst others, Fashion Coterie, ENK Vegas, ENK NYC, Accessorie Circuit, Intermezzo Collections, Children’s Club, ENK WSA and Sole Commerce.
