Maison Kitsuné is landing in Honolulu for a pocket store celebrating the French brand's heritage in music and fashion at Bills Hawaii.

The Maison Kitsuné 'pocket-store' will open December 1st - Facebook: Maison Kitsuné

Maison Kitsuné made the announcement on its Facebook page with a flyer saying it will be heading "to Hawaii to say aloha to its favorite Hawaiian eatery, Bills Hawaii, for its first ever pocket store."

According to the announcement the store is an intimate 1,000 square feet and is "reflective of both brands’ sunny disposition and killer aesthetic." Fans are told to keep their eyes open for more details.

Maison Kitsuné was founded in Paris in 2002 by former Daft Punk manager Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki, an architect. Kitsuné means "fox" in Japanese and is meant to pay tribute to the transformative character of the brand.

Maison Kitsuné is sold at 300 retail partners globally, and through ten branded shops in cities including Paris, Tokyo, Hong Kong and New York.

In addition to men's and women's clothes, Maison Kitsuné releases music tracks and hosts events with emerging and top music talent. Recently, in a push to expand experiential retail, the brand has added a cafe feature where customers can enjoy a cup of coffee in selected stores.

The Maison Kitsuné pop-up store will open December 1 in Bills Hawaii. It will be located at 280 Beachwalk in Honolulu.
