“Canadian shoppers have a European heritage and sensibility to styling which is very much in line with the Parisian Chic DNA of our brands,” says Paul Griffin, President & CEO, SMCP North America, in a news statement. “Yorkdale is the highest performing shopping centre in Canada with the strongest mix of accessible luxury. The choice of Yorkdale as our gateway into Canada was part of our larger strategy to expand our freestanding footprint in that market, as we continue to develop our North American business.”

The two contemporary fashion brands will set up shop within Yorkdale’s newest expansion wing. The 300,000-square-foot space will host 20 new boutiques and will open on October 18, 2016.

Shoppers can expect to find Sandro Paris’ sleek, chic and effortlessly cool womens and menswear collections and an assortment of Maje Paris’ bohemian-chic, and feminine womenswear.

SMCP will continue to roll out a number of regional retail locations in North America within the next year, adding to over 1,118 stores worldwide.

Yorkdale Shopping Centre is Canada's premier shopping destination. It is located at 3401 Dufferin Street in Toronto.
