There are some people who can bring a smile to anyone’s face and Marc Jacobs is one of them. The American designer – nominated three times at this year’s Fashion Awards, is now engaged. The lucky man is Lorenzo Martone, a New York based publicist who has been with the designer for a year.

Women’s Wear Daily reports that the newly engaged couple are expected in Brazil, the home country of Lorenzo Martone, where they should make an official announcement.

The trip will allow the designer to help with the opening of his boutique in Sao Paolo, but also maybe to meet the family of his fiancé.
