Italian fashion house Ermanno Scervino took to social media to announce Mariacarla Boscono as the face of its fall/winter 2017-2018 campaign. The brand describes its latest muse as a "strong, feminine woman" on its Instagram page.

Labels are starting to reveal a diverse selection of fall/winter 2017 campaigns. After Versace and Alberta Ferretti, Ermanno Scervino is the latest fashion house to reveal what's in store from the upcoming season's ready-to-wear ads. To showcase the new collection, the label has picked Italian model Mariacarla Boscono, who also features in the latest Givenchy campaign and regularly walks the runway for Chanel.

But the slender brunette isn't the only star of this campaign, since Ermanno Scervino has signed up the famous fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh to shoot the stills and video.

A first image shared on the Italian fashion house's Instagram shows Mariacarla Boscono in a red lace dress, staring into Peter Lindbergh's camera. The shot seems to amplify the internationally renowned model's charisma.

The campaign video is filmed in black and white. It shows the model walking under a cloudy Parisian sky, wearing key looks from the new Ermanno Scervino collection.

Peter Lindbergh has shot various previous campaigns for the Italian label. However, Ermanno Scervino worked with Kenya Kinski-Jones for spring/summer 2017, Hana Jirickova and Jordan Barrett for fall/winter 2016, and Alan Jouban and Elisa Sednaoui for spring/summer 2016.
