Max ‘n Chester launches e-commerce

Published

New York City-based fashion label Max 'n Chester announced on Tuesday the launch of its first e-commerce site and partnership with Brand Assembly in New York and Los Angeles.

The Max 'n Chester website features the brand’s men’s and women’s collections, and it adds to the brand’s current roster of retailers including United Arrows, Ron Herman, American Rag, CPCM and Wittmore among others. The e-commerce site gives customers 24-7 accessibility.

“Our goal is to make the brand as shoppable as possible. We’re creating an ecommerce site to better reach our customer and let them shop our collection as a whole. Each season of the line tells a story, and now consumers will be able to see the whole story in one place, where they can purchase it,” says founder and designer Peter Trainor. “We also wanted the brand to be shoppable for retailers as well, which is why we are so excited to be partnering with Brand Assembly. Now we will be seen by retailers in showrooms in New York as well as Los Angeles.”

Starting this week, Max 'n Chester will have a dedicated space at Brand Assembly’s New York City office on 56 West 22nd Street and Los Angeles office on 860 South Los Angeles Street. Alex Repola and Hillary France founded Brand Assembly in May 2013 to nurture and elevate design talent by providing infrastructure and guidance.

Max 'n Chester was founded by Trainor in 2012. The New York City-based brand provides men’s and women’s ready-to-wear made from 100% Japanese cotton. Since 2013, the brand has been working with clothing manufacturer KLW to best combine luxury and leisure. Trainor designs for his brand alongside Anne Marie Maniego and managing partner Don Jones.
