McQueen launches new fragrance

Alexander McQueen is days away from releasing McQueen Parfum, the signature scent for women, inspired by adventurous nights.

This is the first fragrance released by McQueen since 2007’s MyQueen Light Mist, and since McQueen passed away in 2010.

The fragrance house describes McQueen Parfum saying, “McQueen has created a unique scent, one that gives strength to your imagination. It is made from the precious essence of three night-blooming flowers, a parfum that unfolds the mysterious power in you. Uniquely McQueen.”

The fragrance pays tribute to the beauty of the night. It has notes of sambac jasmine, a flower that blooms only in moonlight, tuberose, the tempting fragrance in Louis XIV’s gardens at Versailles known for nighttime debauchery, and ylang ylang, a clean early morning scent to bring in the new day.

It launches in March with a countdown timer on the McQueen fragrance site keeping track of nights, not days, until it is available.
