Mezlan unveils store in Manhattan

Footwear brand Mezlan has opened a store in one of America’s most exclusive areas on Madison Avenue in New York City.

The first Manhattan store for the brand is located at 520 Madison Avenue in the iconic Jefferies Building, situated between 53rd and 54th streets on the west side.

This is the seventh Mezlan store in the US and opened its doors to the public in January. Other brands at the same location include Thomas Pink and Eredi Pisano.

New York adds to several other Mezlan stores across the US, where the brand has a physical presence in cities like Chicago, Atlanta and Las Vegas.

The store’s interior has been designed by the brand’s owner, designer and president Antonio Sanchez together with Spanish furniture maker Zora Mobiliario.

The brand, born in Albacete Spain, is part of California-based footwear retailer Pacific Shoe Corporation and kicked off its US retail operations in 2008 with the opening of a first store in Las Vegas. Today, the business continues to manufacture the majority of its shoes in Spain.

In addition to the physical stores, Mezclan’s collections are available online and stocked at select retailers including Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue.
