Miaou launches capsule collection with Opening Ceremony

Miaou, well-known for their ready-to-wear denim with rope tie and chain belt finishing, has teamed up with Opening Ceremony for the launch of an exclusive capsule collection.
 
The collection consisting of Resort 2017 ready-to-wear pieces, features Miaou’s first non-pant styles including bustier tops, black dresses, as well as new pant styles created for summer weather.

 
The capsule line was unveiled in a Miaou branded pop-up location inside of Opening Ceremony’s LA store on June 20th where items will be on display through June 26th, and later be available for the duration of the season at Opening Ceremony New York, as well as online.
 
The line launched by Alexia Elkaim, a recent Parsons School graduate, has quickly reached cult status thanks to a strong social media presence boasted by the likes of Gigi Hadid and Paloma Elsesser.

Last month, Miaou also unveiled a campaign film starring Travis Scott and the Gucci Gang, as well as hosted a pop up store in New York's SoHo neighborhood during New York Fashion Week, back in February.
 
Although the brand began with jeans, Elkaim plans to continue to introduce a range of pieces. 

Opening Ceremony was founded in September 2002 in New York by Carol Lim and Humberto Leon.
