After 30 years in business, Milanese footwear label Michele Lopriore has set its sights on the USA, and announced it will open on 3rd November its first mono-brand shop outside of Italy. The 100 m2 store will be located in Miami, Florida, inside a brand new shopping mall in the heart of the Brickell district.

Founder Michele Lopriore stated that "the year 2016 will represent a highly significant milestone for us. November will be a strategic month: we will open our first international mono-brand store, in the USA, and we will host a cocktail party in Milan to celebrate our birthday."

The US store will introduce a new display concept, showcasing the brand's expertise in hand-made shoes and the unconventional raw material combinations it uses. White will be the dominant colour, highlighted by golden trimmings and black and bright orange details.

Illumination will be the interiors' main focus, light bouncing off the mirrored walls facing the entrance and putting the collection into sharper relief. Accessories will be displayed within lighted recesses, which will accent the products' quality through the chromatic contrast between the interiors' colours and the recesses' golden frames.

"This will be a significant showcase for us, enabling us to boost our brand image worldwide. The next step? It could be Dubai,” concluded Lopriore.

The footwear label generates 70% of its revenue in Italy and 30% abroad, and currently operates seven mono-brand stores in northern Italy. It is also present abroad through wholesale distributors in Laguna Beach (USA) and Nairobi (Kenya).
