Miley Cyrus unveils Converse collaboration teaser on Instagram

Via Instagram, the singer - who has more than 73 million followers - has unveiled a glittery snippet of a potential sneaker collaboration with Converse.

Miley Cyrus posted four shots of Converse models, covered in a streamed of glitter. In the comment section, the young singer-turned-designer has hinted that the shoes are part of her upcoming collaboration with the Nike-owned sneaker brand, and that others will soon follow, without giving an exact date.

While the partnership is yet to be confirmed by the lifestyle shoe brand, the collaboration isn't a surprise. In June, the singer was the face of Converse's 'Yes to All' campaign, which celebrated LGBTQ pride.

For the year 2016-17, Converse, which more recently collaborated with rapper Tyler The Creator, recorded a 4 per cent increase in sales, breaking the $2 billion revenue mark.
