With the backing of Georgia May Jagger and funding from the British Fashion Council, the 'Minnie: Style Icon' exhibition will run from 18th to 20th September, open to the public from 19th September. Pictures, sketches and renderings of Walt Disney's famous character, from her birth to today, will be exhibited at the Blacks Members Club in Dean Street, London.

The exhibition will be held parallel to London's Fashion Week and will celebrate Minnie, often a muse for fashion designers and a recent source of inspiration for Georgia May Jagger. The model's unpublished pictures will be revealed for the occasion.

"We are delighted to be associated with this superb exhibition, which endeavours to show how pop culture can influence fashion, and the reasons why London's designers never stop innovating," Caroline Rush, CEO of the British Fashion Council, explained. "Whilst fashion is a very serious world, it must also be entertaining. This Minnie exhibition therefore fits well with our calendar."

Among the Minnies on show, Madonna's 1987 photo by Herb Ritts in Tokyo, a 'Minnie in Africa' project for Vogue Germany with Chanel Iman, pictures of the writers from French blog Elodie in Paris, and the  Mylittlefashiondiary, Lazy Kat, Le Dressing de Leeloo and Marieluvpink blogs, who took part in a photo-shoot inspired by Minnie's design codes.
