Mission signs Hailee Steinfeld as women's brand ambassador

Mission, maker of high performance temperature controlled activewear, is celebrating the launch of its women's line with recording artist and actress Hailee Steinfeld as brand ambassador.

Hailee Steinfeld is a multi-platinum award winning recording artist and an Oscar-nominated actress. She is also a model and stays in shape being active in the hip hop dance scene.

"As a high-performance athletic brand, we look for partners who embody our same ethos, our same focus and our same maniacal commitment to winning, and Hailee truly embodies each one of those qualities in her life," said Josh Shaw, Founder and CEO of Mission.

Steinfeld will collaborate on design and development of the new women's line. She explained her desire to get involved in the brand, saying, "I've grown up in an innovation generation, where speed, style and science work together seamlessly."

Her father is a Hollywood personal trainer and she will bring a level of brand awareness to the new line through her involvement in dance, music and acting.

The new Mission women's line includes 15 temperature controlled pieces for women including sports bras, tops, bottoms and compression items. Founded in 2009 by top athletes, including Dwayne Wade, David Villa, John Tavares, Mission is focused on thermoregulation in apparel for better performance and quicker recovery.
