In the heart of downtown Montreal, Les Cours Mont-Royal is welcoming Barbie Expo - a permanent exhibition of Barbie dolls.

Barbie Expo coming to Montreal - Barbie Expo

The Barbie museum won’t feature the dolls you may remember playing with as a child however. Instead, some of the worlds most elite designs from prominent creators will be on display, including designers such as Christian Dior, Versace, Givenchy, Donna Karan, Giorgio Armani, Ralph Lauren, Vera Wang, Oscar de la Renta, Christian Louboutin, Zac Posen, Carolina Herrera and Herve Leger among many others.

Over 1,000 dolls in some 5,000 square feet of exposition space will display styles and trends from the last 60 years.

Barbies will also take the form of some of your favourite entertainers like Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, Beyonce, Cher, Jennifer Lopez, as well as characters from blockbuster hits like The Hunger Games, The Wizard of Oz, Twilight, Grease and more.

The Barbie expo will open to the public February 11. The permanent exposition will be open during Les Cours Mont-Royal’s usual business hours, seven days a week. Admission is free.
