Mytheresa makes changes to buying team

Luxury shopping destination Mytheresa has announced the promotion of former Global Buying Director Justin O’Shea to Global Fashion Director, effective on January 18. In this newly-created role, O’Seah will continue to provide fashion direction to the company, as well as creating and driving exclusive opportunities for the brand on a global scale, be it product or content-related. This is to be developed in collaboration with relevant designer labels.

Additionally, Heidi Hoelzer has been named Global Buying Director for Mytheresa.com and the store Theresa. Hoelzer, who will be based in Munich, began her career more than 15 years ago at Saks Fifth Avenue and was Vice-President at Scoop New York.

The new Global Buying Director will be responsible for leading and further building the buying team, strengthening the commercial vendor relationships and overseeing the buying decisions.

The German-based company Mytheresa.com was acquired by Neiman Marcus in September 2014 from Christoph and Susanne Botschen and Acton Capital Partners.
