The 2,000-square-foot flagship location will carry the brand’s spring 2016 collection and products from Caputo & Co. and Sea Bags. The new retail location also features a Style Bar with digital tablets that offer customers inspiration for outfits, as well as a custom tailoring service for Manhattan customers that buy online and in-store.

The brand announced its new city-meets-nautical brand strategy in February 2016 before showing its fall collection at NYFW: Men’s. In 2014, Nautica interviewed over 15,000 people worldwide to better understand its customer, which led them to its new “Inspired by the sea, designed in the city” brand direction.

Prior to introducing the new direction, Nautica opened its first ever holiday pop up in New York City at 134 Fifth Avenue in the Flatiron District. The pop up carried a curated selection of limited edition Nautica apparel, as well as products from Timberland and 7 For All Mankind.

The brand currently operates 200 international stores.
