New Jersey Fashion Week, presented by Lexus of Bridgewater will commence on April 14, 2016 and will be held at the Lexus of Bridgewater car dealership in New Jersey.
The four-day fashion event showcases local New Jersey-based fashion designers and supports the local talent and businesses through special programs and initiatives. Donnella Tilery founded NJFW in 2010 after spending over 15 years producing events for Fortune 500 companies in the digital arena. This season, the event will kick off with a VIP, Designers & Press opening party followed by two days of international runway shows and finally a closing party for participating designers and attendees on the final day.
New Jersey Governor, Chris Christie showed his support for the fashion event by inviting the press in an official statement. “Since its inception in 2010, the mission of New Jersey Fashion Week has been to showcase emerging international talent with the support of partners, sponsors and associates,” Christie said. “This event provides an occasion for brands to reach their targeted consumers and attract potential buyers, retailers and members of a growing base of diverse fashion and beauty-driven customers.”
In addition to showcasing the Garden State’s talented fashion designers, NJ Fashion Week also offers programs to help build the designers and local fashion retailers. NJFW offers a Next Level Program to give emerging talent the opportunity to build their brand with mentors from the industry. The event also offers the Shop NJ Style retail partnership program that gives local businesses several benefits including visibility on the NJFW 2016 calendar and email blast.
New Jersey Fashion Week will show the spring/summer collections of participating designers from April 14 through April 18. VIP and general admission tickets are available now on the NJFW website for $125 and $85, respectively.
