Nyx Cosmetics launches new app and loyalty program

On Thursday the makeup brand launched its “Makeup Crew” loyalty program and a new app intended to mimic the experience of shopping in person.

Nyx Professional Makeup expands its presence in the digital world with its new app, which includes videos, previews of new products and promotional deals. The app will also cultivate an online community, with space for customers to share selfies and share reviews. App users will also be able to browse videos from influencers and shop products used in the videos.  
 
To go with the app, the cosmetics company has also introduced a new loyalty program. Similar programs have proven popular at makeup retailers such as Sephora.

"Our beauty lovers value artistry, innovation, and accessibility," Nathalie Kristo, General Manager of Nyx Professional Makeup, said in a statement. "With the launch of our new app and loyalty program, not only are we providing our fans with the entire line of Nyx Professional Makeup at their fingertips, we are also providing them with exclusive, on-the-go shoppable content like never before. We are thrilled to bring this new technology to our community.”
 
In addition to establishing a larger digital influence, Nyx has also significantly developed its retail presence. The brand recently arrived in Walgreens and has opened stores in the UK, Abu Dhabi and Mumbai.
