OTH launches smoked meat sandwich-inspired Vans

Montreal retailer Off The Hook (OTH) is getting inspired by a city classic – the smoked meat sandwich - for its latest collaboration with Vans.

Named 'The Vault by Vans x OTH Deli Edition', the shoe uses the Vans’ Mid Skool ’77 LX silhouette and features a mix of lightly distressed shades of burgundy, meant to resemble the heart of a smoked meat sandwich, as well as a rye bread-inspired brown leather jazz stripe and gum tab at the back of the outsole. Meanwhile, Vans’ waffle sole in a deep mustard yellow and mustard yellow laces make-up the smoke meat sandwich’s mustard topping.

On OTH’s Instagram page they wrote that “this release ranks among our most limited collaborations to date.”

Vans operates their only Canadian partner store inside of Montreal’s Off The Hook boutique. The retailer has partnered in the past with Vans on special collaborations, including the launch of the OTW Slip-On LX in 2015. They’ve also teamed up with Adidas and Raise by Wolves on collaboration pieces in the past.

The limited edition vans shoe will be available on Saturday, March 18th at the Vans OTH store at 11AM, and online as of 12PM. The shoes will retail at $120 CAD, plus applicable taxes and shipping.
