Pepsi launches clothing collection with Fila
Apr 4, 2017
Fila and Pepsi have joined forces to launch a capsule clothing collection. The nostalgia-influenced pieces boast both brand’s easily-recognizable logos.
The collaborative collection will spawn a collection of hats, t-shirts, shorts, and socks, all co-branded with both brand’s respective logo. The line plays off each brand's love of nostalgia, using the blue, white, and red color-blocking utilized in their logos throughout the clothing collection. The collection features casual designs including elastic-waist shorts and polos, seen in 1950’s Pepsi ads. Price or distribution details are yet to be released.
This is the second big piece of news coming out of the Pepsi camp this week. Just days ago, Pepsi launched an international campaign featuring supermodel Kendall Jenner.
Fila has been making a comeback as of late, thanks to millennials' growing interest in retro brands. In the past few months, Fila has launched collaborations with streetwear wunderkind Gosha Rubchinskiy, as well as a collaborative line with Urban Outfitters.
