Designer fragrance company Perfumania Holdings, Inc. has launched its first concept store in Thornton, Colorado.
Located in the new Denver Premium Outlets, the 900-square-foot store offers a mobile checkout option, special interactive tools to help navigate notes of fresh, woody, spicy and floral; as well as an omnichannel Scent Gallery that allows customers to explore and sample over 40 fragrances.
The shop's interior concept, made by OSK New York creative director Scott Faucheux, is meant to be "simple, easy to navigate and ever-evolving," according to the designer. "We used a warm palette to create an inviting atmosphere while allowing the color stories of product and the seasonal artwork to periodically transform the space and give people a reason to return and see what's new," he added.
The store will also feature a rotating assortment of new, best-seller and niche perfumes for shoppers to explore.
"Our store at Denver Premium Outlets is the vision for our future retail locations," said Nicole Anello Rose, chief merchant of Perfumania, in a release. "As the consumer evolves, our brand is evolving to offer an elevated fragrance shopping experience."
"Our goal is to surprise and appeal to our consumer's lifestyle by highlighting on-trend and niche products to complement our current fragrance offerings," she concluded.
The new concept store serves as a revival after Perfumania Holdings Inc. filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2017. The company exited bankruptcy later that same year.
The global fragrance market was worth $37.4 billion in 2017, and is set to be worth approximately $92 billion by 2024, according to a Statista report.
