Pop-in@Nordstrom creates exclusive capsule with The North Face

Olivia Kim's latest direction for the rotating curated in-store pop-up shop Pop-in @ Nordstrom is an exclusive capsule collaboration on outerwear from The North Face.

The collection offers unisex sizing, and includes exclusive remakes of the brand's iconic Denali jacket, beanies, backpacks and accessories.

The capsule's design aesthetic is focused on mountaineering. The color pallet draws inspiration from prayer flags seen in the high mountains of Asia with strong reds, yellows, greens and blues bringing cohesion to the collection.

Kim, VP of Nordstrom Creative Projects said The North Face's motto "Never Stop Exploring" resonated with her, explaining that The North Face is a unique brand that bridges the gap between being able to outfit extreme mountaineers and outdoor athletes, and streetwear.

Pop-in@Nordstrom featuring The North Face will debut at eight Nordstrom locations, including the Seattle flagship, Bellevue Square in WA, South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa and The Grove in LA. It will also be in Chicago and Dallas Nordstrom as well as in Canada, in Vancouver and Toronto Nordstrom stores.

The collection and Pop-in experience run from January 12 through February 11th. In addition to being available in the eight store locations, it will also be available online through Nordstrom's Pop-In site.
