Puma brings back Disc system into running shoes

Twenty five years after it introduced the revolutionary laceless Disc system into a range of running shoes, apparel and athletic footwear company Puma has revamped the original design with smooth, durable steel wires to conform the foot. The range of shoes is now quicker to turn, faster to tighten, Puma said in a press release.

It wraps and secures the foot onto the platform within a split-second. For ultimate traction and propulsion, it features an aggressive full length Pebax Sprint Plate with 8 spike receptacles. Top-of-the-line, soft, aerodynamic Clarino synthetic upper hugs the foot and locks the foot onto the plate for superb upper support, the release said.
