Puma creates Justice League-inspired collection

Published
Jun 16, 2017

The new collection will launch first with a line of shoes and children’s clothing inspired by the four main superheroes in DC’s Justice League, followed by a line of adult apparel in advance of the movie’ release in the fall.

DC Entertainment and Puma have teamed up to create the superhero-themed collection, which debuts on July 1 with a new version of the brand’s Basket sneaker and a line of children’s clothing. The collection takes its inspiration from the main Justice League superheroes, Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman and The Flash. The four new versions of the Basket sneaker feature the colors and logos of the corresponding superheroes. Puma has yet to release prices for the pieces in the Justice League collection.

The superhero-themed collection represents something of a departure for Puma, whose most recently collaborations with Rihanna and Sophia Webster have been more oriented to the fashion crowd.

The children’s clothing line follows the same superhero theme, with a mix of t-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants and baseball caps. The adult version of the clothing will launch on November 1.

DC will release its Justice League film on November 17, following the successful release of the first Wonder Woman movie earlier this month.
