Puma announced Thursday that it has signed American soccer player Michael Bradley to a long-term contract. Bradley will debut Puma’s latest cleat footwear during the USA vs. Mexico game on October 10th.
Bradley stated, “I am always working towards being better and upping my game, and the Puma products have been a great addition to that. I’m really looking forward to representing the Puma brand moving forward.”
As per the contract with Puma, Bradley will be featured in the company’s future marketing campaigns and initiatives as the face of US Soccer for Puma. Puma will also work to create programming with Bradley during major international soccer tournaments.
Tara McRae, Senior Vice President of Brand & Marketing at Puma North America commented, “Over the past decade Bradley has proven to be a key player and leader on the U.S. National Team. This, along with his speed, touch and overall power on field has really impressed us from the beginning and makes him a great brand fit and Forever Faster ambassador. ”
Michael Bradley has played in over 106 US Men’s National Team games and scored as many as 15 goals. His signing by Puma is the first major athlete contract since the launch of the company’s collaboration collection with Rihanna.
