Qela opens first store in Doha

Qela has opened its first ever store in Doha's luxury destination, The Pearl. The opening is also a first glimpse at the Qatari's first collection, which includes a range of "leather goods, shoes, jewellery and made-to-measure women’s couture" and targets womens all over the world with its "timeless style and strong references".

In line with its international expansion plans, Qela is set to open its second store in Paris, though dates have not yet been divulged. The store's concept is expected to be the same as the Doha store, mixing fashion and culture whilst featuring local artists.

Qela is owned by the Qatar Luxury Group which receives backing from the Qatar Foundation, whose objective is to spur non-hydrocarbon related economic growth in country.
