Froio spent 25 years of his career at Reebok in numerous roles including head of Reebok’s training unit and most recently Brand Director in Western Europe. As General Manager of Reebok America, Froio will be responsible for the company’s US retail and wholesale organizations and for leading brand growth in the US market.

He will also report to Reebok President Matt O’Toole.

“Coming back to the US, Reebok’s home market, is exciting,” said Froio. “What is most exciting, is the brand’s 100 percent commitment to winning in the U.S. We’ve made it our clear priority, and we have a strong, dedicated team and the right strategy in place to reach our goals.”

In October, Reebok announced plans to produce some of its shoes in the US again at a new manufacturing lab that is slated to open in 2017. The footwear and athletic apparel company also combined its US and global teams in 2016.
