RetailMeNot on Monday announced the appointment of John Adcock as Senior Vice President, People, effective November 6, 2017.
In this role, he will lead the digital savings destination’s human resource functions, including the global workforce strategy, culture and engagement, talent acquisition and development, compensation and benefits, and training and development.
Prior to joining RetailMeNot, Adcock served as President of Human Resources at HomeAway, supporting the full organization in hiring, development, and growth of its worldwide talent. He brings close to 20 years in human resources experience, which he obtained at Dell, where he spent 11 years, and American Airlines.
"John brings tremendous experience to the role, where he will focus on further cultivating RetailMeNot's unique culture and employee experience, and oversee HR processes to further enable our team's success,” said RetailMeNot CEO Cotter Cunningham. “John will play an integral role in continuing to drive those efforts, especially during this pivotal period of growth at RetailMeNot."
The appointment of Adcock as SVP, People comes months after RetailMeNot was acquired by Harland Clarke. The marketing services company acquired RetailMeNot in May for $630 million, or $11.60 per share in cash.
