Rhone Apparel has its next 12 months planned out. The men’s performance activewear label announced on Wednesday its yearlong retail tour, which began on October 1 at Brookfield Place.
The Brookfield Place pop up, which takes inspiration from Rhone’s Stamford headquarters, occupies 247 square feet of first floor retail space and features an industrial and rugged interior with repurposed wood and vintage elements, custom blackened steel, and diamond pattern metal mesh fixtures throughout the space. The pop up is scheduled to run into the spring 2018 season.
Rhone is also launching on October 15 a Walden House concept that will travel the US. The 192-square-foot Walden House was made in partnership with New Frontier with an elevated attention to detail and with a focus on nature. The house was created with minimal waste and features triple-paned insulated windows so that less energy is required to run the space, organic shiplap walls, walnut custom boxes, black plumbing pipe and barn wood.
The Walden House will debut at Domain in Austin, TX on October 15, and will travel to Las Vegas for Project in February, Westfield Old Orchard in Stokie, IL from March 1 to May 31, 2018, and will then embark on a summer tour from June 1 through Labor Day 2018.
In addition, Rhone will operate a holiday pop up at Roosevelt Field from November 9, 2017 to February 28, 2018.
