Rolex opens brand-specific store in Vancouver

Swiss watchmaker Rolex has opened its first brand-specific retail location in Vancouver, Canada.
 
The licensed boutique is operated by the Global Watch Company (GWC) and is the label’s largest North American location.
 

The 2,750-square-foot store opened in Vancouver’s 'Luxury Zone' at the Shangri-La Hotel. The store has an Alberni Street frontage and replaces the Xi Shi Lounge, which opened within the hotel back in 2008.
 
Following the brands usual retail aesthetic, the store’s interior features walnut wood cabinets, cream-coloured leather tabletops and marble floors. The store also features private shopping showrooms.

Rolex joins a number of other luxury boutiques in the premium retail district such as Versace, Prada, Saint Laurent, Moncler, Louis Vuitton, Burberry and more.
