Oct 21, 2016
Saks Fifth Avenue has just announced the opening of its first stand-alone store dedicated solely to footwear. The 14,000-square-foot store, located in Greenwich, Connecticut, will focus on carrying a mix of emerging and major designers including Christian Louboutin, Gianvito Rossi, and Valentino.
This store will be the first of three specialty stores operated by Saks Fifth Avenue. A store specializing in designer fashion, called ‘the Collective” will open in February 2017. A stand-alone store dedicated to high and fine jewelry called “The Vault”, will open in May of 2017.
Marc Metrick, president of Saks Fifth Avenue, said: “Saks has been a part of the Greenwich community for 20 years, and the market is integral to our evolution and growth strategy. 10022-SHOE Greenwich marks a new visionary concept for the brand. Moving key categories—shoes, jewelry, contemporary ready-to-wear—to their own specialty shops brings the luxury boutique experience to the next level.”
Saks Fifth Avenue is one of America’s largest and most well-known specialty retailers, carrying a selection of womenswear, jewelry, cosmetics, gifts, handbags, and gifts, as well as men’s, children’s, and home products. Saks Fifth Avenue has 41 stand-alone stores across 22 states, as well as brick-and-mortar locations in Puerto Rico and Canada.
10022-SHOE Greenwich is located at 20 East Elm Street in the heart of Greenwich, Connecticut.
