Salt Eyewear and North Sails launch collaboration sunglasses

Salt Eyewear launched this week collaboration sunglasses with sailmaker North Sails.
 
The North Sails Collection consists of two sunglasses, the VMG and Lowell that are both handcrafted in Japan and feature Japanese polarized lenses.

The VMG is an aviator frame crafted with corrosion-resistant beta titanium, and the Lowell is a wayfarer frame with triangle mount rivets and durable hinges. Though the styles are vastly different, both frames share tether holes at the temple tips to loop a strap.
 
Inspired by the sea, air and land, Salt produces performance-focused frames with Japanese and Italian acetates, beta titanium and Carl Zeiss lenses. The eyewear brand last year launched a 6-piece collection with Bergdorf Goodman, in honor of its debut at the luxury retailer.

North Sails, Salt’s latest partner, designs and produces sails that are regarded as some of the fastest and most winning. Founded by Lowell North, North Sails also produces men’s and women’s apparel, swimwear and accessories.
