Scoop International pushes back dates to sit between Berlin and Paris

Relative newcomer to the trade show scene, Scoop International - which has experienced stellar growth since its debut - has pushed back its dates by about three weeks to sit in the 10-day gap between the Berlin and Paris shows. Instead of its usual mid-February dates, the London show will now take place between 19 and 21 January, just after Berlin (14-16 January) and just before Paris (25-28 January).

The show’s managing director, Karen Radley, justified the decision saying: “The positive implication of bringing the dates forward is that fashion designers selling earlier in the season look likely to have an advantage over those going with later dates, with many buyers looking to commit their budgets as early as possible".

A successful January edition could lead to a change of dates for the summer session, where the trade show usually fixes dates for the last two weeks of July. Other London tradeshows such as Jackets Required and Pure London have not chosen to move their dates.

For the upcoming edition of the show, Scoop International will showcase 400 premium and directional labels across two locations: the Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea and the Phillips Gallery near to Victoria. A second location was added for the most recent July session to allow the show to welcome more brands.

Scoop International is owned by ITE Moda, the same group that organises menswear show Jacket’s Required and Moda, which takes place in Birmingham.
