Shiseido has announced the creation of a new management team in charge of sustainable development for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). The move is part of "Vision 2020," a plan that aims to reach 6.8 billion in revenue by 2020 while adhering to social and environmental business practices.

As of July 1, Daniel Guillermin will take on the role of Director General of Sustainable Development for EMEA. Previously CEO at Shiseido International France for the last 15 years, in this new role Daniel Guillermin’s mission will be to “direct and develop a strong and visible sustainable development in the region and take on a leading role to answer social, societal, and environmental questions,” says the Shiseido group, in a new release. Daniel Guillermin will report to Louis Desazars, the president and CEO of Shiseido Group EMEA.

Hervé Ronsin will replace Daniel Guillermin as Director General of operations and president of Shiseido International France. Ronsin first joined the Shiseido Group in 1997 and was most recently Vice President in charge of packaging development, procurement and supply chain management.

Both of these nominations are part of the deployment strategy of Shiseido and Beauté Prestige International European operations.

The entire strategy will be shared sometime before next fall.
