Shopping app Yeay launches in open beta

Video shopping app Yeay on Monday officially launched in open beta. The mobile app allows for users to sell and shop products through a simple, entertaining and personal forum.

Yeay presents itself as a new alternative to traditional digital shopping. In addition to shopping and selling, the app also creates a mobile-based community of video enthusiasts. Brands such as Mister Spex, Relaxdays, Urbanara, ZL by Zlism, Pixel Panties, eLeyTe and 8Dix have already begun using the app to sell their products.
 
The beta launch follows closely behind Grazia Equity’s single-digit million Euro seed financing. The funding allowed for Yeay to properly launch in beta and will play a role in the company establishing partnerships with global retailers in London, Milan, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Berlin, Bangkok and Melbourne among other cities.
 
Yeay has made its beta service available via iOS and will launch an Android version in the near future.
