Shoptalk to hold event in Europe

Two serial tech entrepreneurs are bringing their successful US retail and ecommerce event, Shoptalk, to Europe. Similar to its US counterpart, Shoptalk Europe will bring together leaders from established brands, startups , tech companies and venture capital investors in an event focused on retail and ecommerce innovation.

Founders Anil Aggarwal and Jonathan Weiner launched Shoptalk in the US in 2016 with more than 3,100 attendees, including almost 400 CEOs.

“The overwhelmingly positive industry­wide reception we continue to receive for Shoptalk demonstrates the demand for an event that brings together the entire commerce ecosystem and resets the conversation to focus on the rapid evolution of today’s consumers,” said Aggarwal, Shoptalk’s Founder and Chairman.

The inaugural European event will be held from 9-11 October 2017 in Copenhagen. It is expected to attract over 2,000 visitors, including 250 speakers and 200 CEOs. C-Level executives are expected to make up 30% of the audience.

Themes to be covered at the event include retail experiences of the future, digital retail, delivery and pickup innovation, investment, disruptive startups, cross-border ecommerce, marketing evolution, measurement and analytics, culture and leadership, consumer behaviour and regulations & privacy.
