Eco-conscious skincare brand Derma E has named Brenda Wu the company's new president and CEO. She will begin immediately in her new roles, in addition to becoming a member of the Derma E board of directors.
As president and CEO, Wu will oversee Derma E’s brand strategy and growth.
The new exec said: "I look forward to working with the Derma E team during this exciting stage of growth to further the brands commitment to its customers and partners.”
Before joining Derma E, Wu had 13 years of experience working at L'Oréal working on brands like Giorgio Armani Beauty, Lancôme and Kiehl’s. While holding her most recent role as the U.S. General Manager of Skinceuticals, Wu pushed the brand to become the number one professional skincare brand in the country.
Currently a subsidiary of Topix Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Derma E targets eco-ethical consumers with vegan and cruelty-free face, body and haircare products that are free of additives like parabens and artificial colors. The company was founded in 1984 in California, where its headquarters is located today.
