Smiley joins line-up for Colette anniversary collection

The Smiley Company has announced a new partnership with French fashion-lifestyle store colette to be part of colette’s new 20 products for 20 years campaign.


Smiley has linked with Colette for its 20th anniversary collection


The store is launching 20 luxury products in its signature blue colour palette across a wide variety of categories and Smiley is coming up with two of them.

Other brands taking part include Converse, Dr Martens, Nike, Edward Bess and Komono watches.

Smiley has teamed up with long-term partner and sake shoe specialist Joshua Sanders, to create a limited edition slip-on sneaker and slider. They both feature Smiley’s classic icon with bouclé patches as eyes and a polkadot sole.

And it has also linked with Casetify, a major premium phone case maker, on a silver glitter phone case that features the signature colette anniversary Smiley icons embedded within the case alongside the colette logo.

Smiley CEO Nicolas Loufrani said, that with colette having invented the concept store format and having influenced the creation of concept stores all over the world, its product mix remains “not pretentious and open to all trends, from art to cartoons, absolute luxury to mass confectionery… This is where Smiley belongs.”
