Tadashi Shoji to launch first fragrance at Lord & Taylor, Macy's

Tadashi Shoji is expanding his product offering with the introduction of his first-ever fragrance, Eau de Rose.

The fearless woman that Shoji dresses, and rose gardens in Japan, are the inspiration behind the new fragrance, which launches in April.

The scent has a dominating note of rose and top notes of bergamot, mandarin, grapefruit, rhubarhb and blackcurrant. The body note features jasmine, osmanthus, lily of the valley, and cedarwood, and the drydown is comprised of musks, frankincense, labdanum, patchouli and an exotic scent of Oudh Oil.

Eau de Rose is packaged in a deep rose colored bottle and with a rollerball ($27) and body crème ($55). The scent will launch in two sizes as well, 50ml and 100ml, for $110 and $135, respectively.
 
Tadashi Shoji enters the fragrance market 30 years after launching his namesake collection. Since founding his label, he expanded his collection to include bridal, intimates, shape wear, accessories and kids.
 
Eau de Rose by Tadashi Shoji will launch exclusively at Lord & Taylor and Macy’s.com in April 2017.
