Accessories brand Timbuk2 has plans to open two flagship stores in New York City. The California-based company is currently filling positions for its Manhattan and Brooklyn flagship stores that will be located at 325 Lafayette Street in NoHo and 214 Berry Street in Williamsburg. The two new locations will be the company’s 9th and 10th retail locations in the US.
Founded by Rob Honeycutt in 1989, Timbuk2 is a San Francisco-based accessories company that specializes in messenger bags, backpacks, laptop bags, duffel bags and custom bags for men and women. Timbuk2 also gives a lifetime warranty for all of its products. The company is currently owned by VMG Equity Partners and is led by CEO Patti Cazzato.
Timbuk2 currently operates stores 15 global stores in the US, Canada, Japan, Korea, Thailand and Iceland.
