Tommy Hilfiger revisits menswear classics for spring 2018

Tommy Hilfiger presented the Hilfiger Edition Spring 2018 menswear collection at the Pitti Immagine Uomo menswear event in Florence, Italy, Tuesday, June 13, by means of an innovative installation. The ready-to-wear brand showed a new collection comprising original American classics revisited with a modern twist.

After a first participation back in January, the American label returned to Pitti Uomo -- a major international menswear event -- in Florence, Italy, to present the spring 2018 Hilfiger Edition collection.

This new collection, which is on show in Florence until June 16, pays homage to the brand's menswear heritage, bringing the fundamentals of the menswear wardrobe to the forefront, revisited in Tommy Hilfiger style for a laid-back, stylish and fresh, modern look.

For spring 2018, Tommy Hilfiger has designed a complete wardrobe of menswear essentials inspired by the label's archives, finished in high-end fabrics and with chic details. The collection also uses bold colors, mainly red and blue, and features various graphic motifs and patterns, including horizontal and vertical stripes.

The collection includes pants, jeans, shirts, sports-inspired jackets, bomber jackets, polo shirts, braided sweaters, Bermuda shorts and T-shirts. Backpacks and shoes with colorful outer soles complete the new Hilfiger Edition menswear line.

Tommy Hilfiger recently announced that the brand's upcoming "TommyNow" fashion show will be held at the Roundhouse, a famous London concert venue, on September 19.
