Tranoï opening a permanent office in New York

Tranoï is looking to consolidate its presence in New York. The French trade fair organised a first, modest edition from Paris in February. Now, to make things easier and, more generally, to have a permanent presence in the fashion capital of the Americas, the French avant-garde fashion trade fair specialist has decided to set up an office in New York.

Michael Hadida, one of Armand Hadida's sons, Tranoï artistic director and brother of David, the director of the trade fair, will be in charge with a small team. "Michael has been 'living' Tranoi for a long time. It's important for him to be based in New York with our culture," said Armand Hadida.

It is now his role to organise the next edition in September to be held at Tunnel from 18 to 20 September. At the same time, he is working on finding a new, more central location for 2016. He is also in charge of building up Tranoï's strategy in the United States which could include other editions at other sites.

The trade fair is thus in it for the long haul in New York, for anyone who had any doubts...
